A Carpool for a Green Wedding

People are getting more and more concerned about the current situation of our environment – brides and grooms are no exceptions. Those couples do want to make their special day more memorable with a unique theme that will delight not only their guests but also the environment.

Encourage your guests to arrive in carpools or to share cars with each other. Use recycled papers for the invitations. Put on a second-hand dress or perhaps a wedding dress that had been used by someone in your family. Of course, the decorations for the reception should also be green and natural yet flamboyant enough to welcome the newly wed. Avoid helium-filled balloons and use ribbons made of natural fibers. As for the presents, the couples could make a list of suitable eco-friendly products to put on the guest list. And of course, don’t forget about the honeymoon. A camping holiday or a nature trip can be a wonderful green option.
