Carpooling Saves Time

feature photo

Carpooling can be an excellent time-saver for those who don’t own a car as long as all your carpool buddies observe punctuality regularly. It’s quite obvious to say that the more people engage in carpooling means the fewer cars on the road; hence, traffic jamming can be reduced.

People who don’t usually travel alone – including those in a carpool – can take advantage of HOV or “high occupancy vehicle” lanes which can offer you much faster travel time. Mass transit systems, though they may be reasonably priced for the commuters, are actually a very time-consuming option. Riding a bus can take a couple of hours with bus stops, while you can make the same trip using a car in just a matter of minutes.

  1. If this is one way that I can save money, effort and time, then why not go on car pooling?
