Planning a Carpool?

Being in a carpool saves you money. However, it doesn’t come as easy as that. You should think of the other aspects you must consider if you’re planning to join carpooling.

First of all, for carpooling to work smoothly, you have to find a group – or at least a partner – of commuters that live in the same neighborhood as yours and work close to one another. Furthermore, you must all have approximately the same time schedule of when to arrive to work and head home. However, that would not be the case at all times. There will always be one of you who might unexpectedly have to work late or leave for an urgent situation. If the driver for that day is the one with the last minute change of schedule, then the whole carpool needs to have a backup plan. Also, you have to consider that everyone has their own precious time. If you want to stop by the grocery, you might want to think first if they’ll agree to wait.
